I just disputed and uploaded 3 files including bank statements. I went ahead and clicked through and I never had the opportunity to write a dispute or number that i thought was correct. What did i do wrong?

Checked on my balance earlier today. Had to enter 0 in front of the 'Petition Number'. Feels unreal to even be at this stage. Balance looks spot on. Good luck everyone!

Same here. Waited so long and now watching others celebrate......
09-18-2013 , 07:27 PM
So if we haven't received the email are we supposed to start a new Petition or just wait?
09-18-2013 , 07:29 PM
I would wait and at least try to call them first.

Such a bad beat. No claim email and no proof of any activity. The credit cards I used to deposit with I no longer have. My bank got a new database in 2012 and "have no records prior to that, Sorry for any inconvenience".

I have a clean record on FTP and fit all their criteria. My only suspicion is I have about 8 player transfers (both ways), most of them in 4 figures.

I am completely dumbfounded why I was flagged not to receive an email.

same thing here. No emails at all.

Maybe their starting with the lower balances and working up? I only had $1,700 on FT. I got the email on Monday and just filed my petition.... it felt pretty ****ing surreal.

Don't know if this had mentioned already, but for those who never deposited, there is a section where you have to "electronically sign" acknowledging certain things, such as a being a U.S citizen, not being a FT employee, blah, blah, only one of those things is that you deposited funds. Kinda dicey obv for those that didn't have to.

As the person below said I'm going to wait a day or two more. I'm also going to be calling them.

Seems a lot of us haven't received emails yet.
09-18-2013 , 07:41 PM
I never received an e-mail so I went ahead and filed for a new petition. Once I entered all my relevant information, it gave me a petition # and a control #. I then went back to the first page and entered in those numbers (I didn't have to put a 0 before my petition number, it fit just fine).

My balance showed to be 0.00, so I entered in the correct balance (I also uploaded my player account history for proof) and then all my checking account information. I clicked submit and then immediately received a conformation letter to my current e-mail address. Have I done everything I needed to do? Do we just sit back and wait now? When will we know if we are definitely getting our money from the DOJ? Good luck to everyone!

Fwiw, there have been several people IIT who have claimed to have never deposited and received petition and control numbers

Thanks! Glad to help. I hope we all get our money back without too much hassle.

Yep. Microsoft has a free Excel viewer that works well too. Here's info I sent the PPA membership in a weekly update:

If you don’t have Excel (or a compatible spreadsheet program), you have some free options. One is to use Google Docs. Another is to download MS Excel Viewer. I downloaded it myself to verify I could open this spreadsheet. It works fine. Another is to download LibreOffice.

Also thanks PPA for the help!
Thanks.

Still no email here too. It'd be cool if someone posted who got one recently. So we know they are still emailing/emailing atm, etc. But some people don't want me to ask for information.
09-18-2013 , 07:45 PM
If your inbox isn't clean like mine, I really think that there are a lot of people who simply missed the GCG email. Make sure you search for it to be sure you don't have it.
09-18-2013 , 07:46 PM
Now since the claims process has begun, and there is another thread dedicated to all things issues with claims...

For real, think Engineer's post is a perfect way to close it, and a lot of confusing overlap going on.

Ooooh sweet. Looks like I found a $2500 bank transfer I requested on April 8th and never received. They put that back in my account, but didn't credit me back for the bounced check I had.

Yipee.

People have been claiming to have just received their petition and control numbers as of this afternoon.

Personally I wouldn't file unless I was sure I wasn't going to get one. Call them and find out
09-18-2013 , 07:47 PM
Yep no email for me. Deposited a couple of times at least, met all requirements. Will wait til the weekend in case I do get the email. If not I guess it's petition time.

Don't have access to the .edu that was on my ftp account on black friday. Only updated it after GCG website started up.

I just don't understand why I didnt get an email in the first place and I hope the excel file would be enough for proof- as it should match what they have on record ( though I still think I was shorted about 600$).

gl to all
How do you do this?

Log in on FTP. Go to the "Requests" tab on the top. Look for something like "Account History (Web)" it takes you to a website. That should help.

It would really be absurd if they refund people with bounced checks but not limbo checks. I begged FT support to put the money back in my account too because I knew this would happen.

Anyone have an idea of the market rate for 64k FTPs on Black Friday? Just curious, I probably won't file for them if it doesn't amount to much. Thanks
09-18-2013 , 07:54 PM
Ugh still no email. My balance should be high 4 figures. Called them this morning and they said someone would call me back but no one ever did. Don't think I should be flagged for anything, I was never an affiliate or FTP employee.

I think that FTPs aren't included in our balances because we all still technically have them. If I log on to FTP right now I can see my 270k FTPs (but I'm not sure if there's any way for me to actually use them, besides taking a trip outside the country).

An approximation for their value is 200FTPs ~ $1, meaning your 64k comes out to about $320.
