If its back in your account balance why would you assume you're out the money ?

Because it says your balance as of 4/15, and on the excel sheet they did not cancel and put back the 4500 until the the next day, I mean if they looked at the account they would see it, but them saying balance as of 4/15 is what scares me..

If I am a US account but have since relocated overseas. I guess I can file my remission while over here but I do not have my US bank account anymore. Could that be an issue or is there an international bank that I could open up an account at that would have branches in the US. Just do not want any issues.

I have the same situation where I made a withdrawal April 15 that got credited back the next day. I am not worried about this one too much because I can show a screenshot of my account being credited back along with the account history showing it.

I am more concerned about the check I requested April 13 that obviously never arrived but was not credited back either. I'm hoping showing no deposits for that amount into my checking account over the next couple of months will be sufficient evidence (and the obvious fact that no one requesting a payment that close to the shutdown got paid).

Maybe some of you didn't get an email because the mail server timed out or some other logical reason not related to ineligibility.

Damn, didn't get one and no reason for me not too. Guess I'll give them a call tomorrow.

I didn't have exactly your situation, but something similar. I entered a tournament on the night of April 15th, 2011 for which a $100 bounty and a $4,000 6th place prize were credited to my account on April 16th, 2011 at 12:12 AM and 2:33 AM EDT. When I downloaded my history in November of 2012, this information was there. When downloading it today, this information was chopped off. I'm concerned that I'll be frucked over on a stupid technicality. If these folks are reasonable, I'll get this money. If not, then I'm screwed.

This 4/15 hardnosed cut off is a stupid technicality. Hopefully you can reason with these folks, but given that it's the feds, who knows? I have a similar situation in which I got knocked out of a tourney in 6th place in the wee hours of 4/16 and on 4/16 received $4,100 in prize money. Upon looking at my history just now, this $4,100 credit is omitted.

What email address are you guys getting an email from and what's the Subject if the email?

(So I can search spam, etc. easier.)

i don't understand FTP is just wiping everything off its books after 4/15 now? seems rather shady. i downloaded my history months ago and everything was in it up until May.

I guess we'll find out when we can log in what GCG thinks our balances should be.

I thought this was important enough to make an account on here. I just got an email with the control # at 12:03 am CT. This is around six hours after I got my general email from gcg. The control # email went to my FTP email and the general email went to my new email. To note, I sent gcg an email earlier in the day asking them if they could send the email with the control # to the email address I had set up with them...obviously they didn't and they just sent the general one. Pretty sure that isn't relavent to me getting the control # email, but if you guys are really desperate it can't hurt, could help to email them. Just wanted to say that if some of you night owls are still awake just know that I got my email like an hour ago, so it isn't over yet.
