Game Over: time to give up

I have been playing for years with mixed results...i'd say im up $800 but that doesn't matter. Tonight I lost $600 dollars on hands that I would rather not describe. I have a job so this is really no biggie to me but I just wonder how the poker "pros handle these beats....it is disgusting at the $1/2 level and I think degens must be looming on Carbon Poker. I will get over this I just wonder if other internet players experience huge downswings similar to what I just experienced???

Wait, you lost $600 at 1-2? Dude you might have a gambling problem. That's a huge loss.

Re: Game Over: time to give up

I recently returned to Carbon and found that there were almost no fish, it was full of regs plus I ran like crap. As recently as last year the Merge network was like Party Poker of old but man has it changed. Yuck, do not want.

1 hand at 3/6 could have it all back.

Just something to keep in mind.

Re: Game Over: time to give up

yes i ran so bad...if JJ was good on flop the K6 hit the turn everytime on a junk flop board and the fact the K6 even called a blank board scared me...i don't know about this Carbon Poker and Merge Network...i think i'm done..and this has nothing to do with coolerz or bad beats

I don't know. 300bb's is alot, maybe like a handful of people have ever gone on downswings like that before, that's pretty sick. Can't imagine what losing 3 entire buyins in a session would feel like...

Yeah, they had problems withdrawing too. I hope their get together with that other poker site gives them a bump but they've dropped in quality imo.
