Re: FTP Remission Issues Thread ONLY. No polititard or history derails please.

At Bank of America there is two routing numbers.

I thought I chose the right number the first time (I did what the bank told me). Apparently I did not so I had to re-submit it.

They said if it doesn't go through this time they will be sending checks to those who's bank wires did not work

In my case, I had accidentally switched my accounting and routing numbers for my bank account. I got the sense from a GCG rep that many others made this mistake. Very uncharacteristic of me to make that kind of an error but so it goes sometimes.

Upon request I got an email from GCG confirming that my information has been fixed. For the record, I had never received any kind of notice that my info was incomplete and only found out because I called GCG immediately after not receiving a "first batch" email.

Btw, I've still yet to see a "test deposit" of $0.00 show up in my banking account. Should I be worried?

If an error like wrong/incomplete banking info takes at the very least a month to resolve, is it fair to assume that a formal review process from the DOJ for disputed accounts will take even longer?

Payments are supposed to arrive by the end of March.

This is incorrect. At the end of this month the information for those of us in the "incorrect banking info" pool (along with I'm assuming the rest of batch #2, whoever that may be) will be going back to the DOJ for approval. Only then will it go back to the GCG for the payment process.

From what Patrick stated to me, it sounds like sometime in May before Batch #2 will receive payment via wire.

Re: FTP Remission Issues Thread ONLY. No polititard or history derails please.

Wondering were my payout falls.

I had part of my balance seized by the IRS and I had to fill out an additional form to disperse the remainder, which I completed by Feb 15.

When I didn't receive the remainder in the "first wave", I called to inquire and was told my issue was being resolved.

Today, a $1.00 deposit was made to my Bank of America account (should be much more than that).

I've scanned the thread but haven't seen anyone talking about what happened when part of their balance was seized, did I miss some of the conversation?
