but u will get your funds and play at pokerstars

this is just because player pools are small, so no need to compite with each other, i guess they already compite with some local sites

Actually i find it pretty surprising they arnen't looking to get a DK or EE license, especially denmark. Pretty much everyone operates legally in Denmark countries, player pools are not segregated so there is no player pool issue, taxes are reasonable(-sh).

All those belgium players on full tilt will have their money put on a PokerStars account. You may not get FT access but the PokerStars player pool should benefit.

As already stated, BE, EE and DK are all on international player pools. PokerStars.BE has the same players as PokerStars.COM. If there were to be a FullTiltPoker.BE, it would be the same players are FullTiltPoker.com. So the reason is a question of costs (not just licensing, but the costs of marketing two brands in one country, or diluting its marketing efforts when PS is only one of 4 poker rooms in Belgium.)

Re: FTP not reopening in France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Estonia

I dunno maybe they want to get software going, get withdrawals going etc. and then start worrying about getting license in all those stated countries. Maybe they will start getting licenses after new year.

Imo they should have some time to brush off all that previous FTP disaster so people wouldn't associate new FTP with old one.

I don't care if they don't reopen in France. Just give me back my money and I'll be happy adding it to my Pokerstars roll and keep playing there

maybe the costs of getting a license there are prohibitive and it's not worth over a small player pool
