Lighten up, smoke a cigar, have some lobster. Relax.
Why get upset enough to froth at the mouth about cigars and lobsters every post if we're just hanging out by the water cooler?

Just saying get some new material.

Just a little FYI, today (Friday) is a Federal holiday in the US, therefore DOJ etc offices are closed for regular business. I would not expect to hear any definitive news before Monday.

So the wait continues... DF when is your interpretation as to when this 15 day window will end? Also wasn't the GBT/DOJ deal supposed to be in writing during the first week of the 15 day window and then the FTP/GBT finalization and share holder vote during the latter part of this window?

Negotiations are taking place in US, iirc. We still have a few hours until it's evening in NY and until someone publishes news. Plus, we still have a few more days until the 15th. Patience.

It seems like part of what they must have done in October is get all the shareholders, or as many as they need, to agree. I think it just takes this long to write up the contracts, maybe get new bank accounts for the new business set up to put the money in which is required, and a lot of technical stuff.

FWIW, I think it's gonna be all good.

(BTW, FYI for ROW readers: "for what it's worth")

I think you should ask Chinamaniac or Hdemet, they know everything, both are more or less tied for most valuable poster ITT.

Tapie said we'd know more in two weeks from the first of november (or was it the 2nd?), so i think we should wait till the 14th or 15th before getting antsy.

After all, he said we'd know more by the end of October, and on November 1st, we got big news.

the fact that we have no information about their whereabouts and the fact that we don't have any statement or actual photos of their appearance pretty much proves this rumor.

we should set up a bounty to find these bastards.

What is your rumor-source if you dont mind me asking? If ray bitar is sending out e-mails from dublin, he's located and probably eager to vote. Even Rafe Furst issued a statement after being included in the civil action by the DOJ. Seems that only Lederer and Ferguson are "hiding" and they are the only ones with a legal reason to "hide". Even Ivey isn't named in anything, so for him to not come forward to vote(along with E-dog, Harman, Seidel, Cunningham, etc) would not make much sense.

We dont need information on where they are / what they're doing for them to be where they need to be, doing what they need to do. In the end, the most dangerous notion for them is that they avoid the vote for their own sake, then they truly will be the targets of "bounties" such as the one you suggested.

Someone living in Ireland said they saw Ferguson walking around the other day. I imagine that rumor is complete BS.

If you believe that some random blogger is factual just because you havent personally been rubbing noses with the shareholders, you may as well believe that the aliens have your money and sign up for the next flight to the moon.

AFAIK, there is no truth to the "rumor" that either GBT ever left the negotiating table or that the shareholders are hiding refusing to vote.
