Unfortunately, thats not how the real world works.

Thats why a company has approved accountants compile and sign off on the numbers.

Thats the reason Arthur Andersen was taken down by the Enron scandal.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Andersen

I think the AGCC made a lot of mistakes but at least they appear to be honest ones.
It seems they were duped by FTP just like we ALL were.

They asked FTP to answer the charges at the hearing and they refused.

Can you imagine posting on NVG in April that FTP didnt have a fraction of the funds to pay the players.

Your account would have been banned instantly and everyone would have called you a crackpot.

How could the 2nd biggest online room in the world not have the money to pay the players let alone 100's of millions on top?

I for one started posting on here Hdemet when i found after weeks of searching for answers found a lot of truth in your honeest opinions

I have also emailed the DOJ awaiting "swift "/ any reply as to indicate where ROW players should now go to seek restitution

very enjoyable posts man keep up the good work

Does anyone know how much the DOJ seized from stars? 337 million seized from FTP seems like an absurd amount.

This is what really may be the end result soon for sure, whether you are right about a scheme or simply events occuring. The real story will come out and you may be a prophet in the end!

Uh, people posted that kind of stuff for months leading up to black Friday, and while there was some flaming and threads devolving and being locked/deleted, there was also a lot of healthy debate about it and most 2p2ers with their heads screwed on correctly took them seriously. The problem was that it was almost always pure speculation based on people reading between the lines, so it was relatively easy to discount, not because everyone had their heads buried in the sand.

This must strive to become a FTP player combined effort if we are to see any of our $$$$$ returned...

We all played at FTP no matter where we were from,,, we all deserve our monies returned

United we have some hope of actually forming a group large enough to be heard and hopefully listened to ,,

As it looks right now the on;ly hope we seem to have is to get the monies returned to players by the DOJ

DOj has seized"frozen seizes in seized accounts over $330 million from Full Tilt Poker according to the AGCC press release today

Its so obvious that they knew the AGCC was going to take away their licence they decided to sugest this whole mystery investor deal hung on the fact as to blackmail the AGCC.
Im glad they didnt fall for it.

Its clearly desperate nonsense from desperate people.

The AGCC has kept one licence open, its now up to FTP to prove this investor is for real by taking over the company.

My prediction is that no investor will put up the money and FTP will say its all the fault of the AGCC.

FTP has blamed virtually everyone in this mess bar themselves.

Maybe next they should blame us (the players) for playing on their shady site.
Actually the players are totally 100% to blame.

Had they not played they would not have put so many millions in front of these thieves and tempted them to steal all that money.

Perhaps a lawyer can help me but I think its called contributary negligence...

Maybe they can use this as a defence...any chance I can be paid for my legal advice...maybe with FTP points becasue we know they cant do it with realmoiney?

I will say this, the majority of the persons named by the DOJ as being to blame are American citizens.

I am sure the DOJ feel obligated to compensate every single player equally as they feel its a duty and embarrasement that American citizens have defrauded players around the world who did nothing wrong, who mostly played 100% legally (or in most cases not illegally)

The statement by the DOJ is actually far bigger news than the AGCC thing and FTPs stupid statement.

The bad news is the timeframe for all the court cases and getting some of the money back is probably a long one.

I am guessing 3-5 years based on previous cases.

After all is said and done, how much will they be able to get back?

There will also be other creditors inline who want their share.

What a complete cluste**** this is.

I think you'll find they are veggie burgers, he only eats cheese burgers when some idiot offers him $10K.

David Grey once bet vegetarian Howard Lederer $10,000 that he couldn’t eat a cheeseburger. Lederer insisted he could – and promptly wolfed one down. Then, knowing Grey had a strong aversion to olives, he offered him a chance to win his money back by eating some of those. Without a moment’s thought, Grey tossed Lederer the $10k and kept the green things out of his mouth.
