While Tom Dwan offered a million of his own money to the players, (which he earned honestly and I dont blame him at all), Phil Ivey just stays silent and keeps the money that doesn't belong to him. So actually this lowlife multi-multi-multi-millionair owes me $2300 (of the 23k I have on FTP) while I am still broke and didn't even have money to buy a fathers day present. This is too sick for words.
lol people like you are pathetic, blaming him for your problems. ivey worked for a company, he earned whatever money he made, not his fault company went under. all he did was represent it,
hey, what if you found a finger or toe in a box of wheaties cereal, would you wanna kill michael jordan? because he was on the box afterall? I mean he supported the wheaties brand he should be held responsible right? thats your logic right there,

I have knowledge of UPS's and how they operate. All UPS's have a switch or plug that connects them to the server or other electronic equipment. To pull the plug so to say would mean pulling two plugs or flipping two switches. One for the ac and one for the UPS.
Servers are not the only equipment that uses UPS's

I don't blame pros who were just payed for their services ( I mentioned Dwan). But Ivey was an owner and they divided up the playerbalances. You might think that is normal, in my book that is called stealing.

Doesn't matter about your "book"! Non officers and non directors are very seldom legally liable for dividends they recieve, there are possible exceptions. Now, in the FTP situation, you can say Ivey and others have a moral obligation to try to make things right, and you will get little or no dissent. They have to FEEL they have this obligation , and I doubt they do

Shareholder, owner?? Board of director? No he just repped the site yes his image was probably more valuable than any other player, maybe durrrr comes close in the virtual world,
So Ivey didn't have much input in the company as Howard and Christ did.
I highly doubt Ivey knew what was going on, and as soon as he found out he was ashamed and tryed to get an investor in
Why shouldn't he play? If you were in his shoes you would be playing

Should watching this interview affect my opinion on the value of my stuck funds or do you just take her for any totally random speculator who has no idea? Can you guys given any sort of OPINION on whether you think payment and/or reopening is still on a path to happening?
I am also curious what the heck is going on with all the employees that had not been let go. If there was a massive layoff in the last 6 weeks I just assume we would have heard about it. So people are still working there? Who the hell is paying them? I'd have to think that if the outlook was just miserable, former employees would be all over here?

Ivey wasn't a shareholder? I always assumed he was. Someone please confirm yes or no.
The amended complaint refers to another professional poker player and owner who has not been sued as “Player Owner 1″ who has received $40,078,646.6 in dividends and millions in loans, at least $4.4 million of which have not been repaid. This is almost certainly Phil Ivey.

I dont think it's smart to put any weight on what Kathy said about "not getting paid back".
There was a Mike Matusow interview where he said "everything is almost done". But even that can't be trusted. Kathy seems like the kinda person who opens 2p2 once every 6 months. She probably has a vague idea of what is going on, but certainly no "inside sources". No one does.

So, it's christmas. A hired Santa Clause delivers some toys and goes away. Now he made a mistake, it should be delivered at the neighbours house, where 2 kids are anxiously waiting for there presents. I decide to keep the presents because the law says I am legally entitled to them.
What would you think of me?
And why Is everybody so soft on Ivey?

Obviously DF and Noah have the only opinions that matter, but this video is over a week old, I only posted it because of the cool shirt she is wearing.
While Kathy said no one would buy her balance, she also mentions how uncharacteristically friendly all the Team FTP (owners) have been this WSOP, which is clearly a positive indication (how sleazy would it be (illegal?) to buy her balance if they have inside information?).

Sorry he was a shareholder for sure, I don't know about owner, but he wasn't a decision maker within the company, come on you watch him on the shows all Ivey is a sick degen, great player but he's always after a sick bet or a big pot, yes he made millions from FTP and he should re pay his loan, but he didn't know what was going on so he's not really a crook

Because he can't follow the rules for signatures.
As for his point on servers it is certainly possible to just shut them down hard which might cause a loss of data. That servers can be protected from crashing has nothing to do with what Noah suggested.

This, he wasn't involved with the day to day decisions. Did you also suggest that non-board member employees of Enron give all their wages back?

You would be morally wrong to keep them, but you would be legally free to keep them. This is a no brainer, what's your point?
Everybody soft on Ivey???.... BS.... overstatement
