What access does a license from the AGCC actually grant anybody anyway. It's not an authority recognized by the rest of the world. Not to my knowledge anyway.


I just don't see governments from around the world saying "ahh they have an AGCC gaming license. They absolutely must be legit." ....

From this thread we've learned that FTP payed a lot of money for their AGCC license. It has to have been worth it to them. At the least I've learned that the AGCC is what's called a 'White List' in the U.K. and I presume for the U.K. at least the license is necessary to operate there.

I have skimmed around, and it looks like May 3rd will be some news, giving us an idea if we are one step closer to getting our money from ftp.

One question...I see these rumors about ftp possibly coming back...does this mean ftp might be available to USA players as well ?..or just non-usa like stars at the moment.

There is no upside to them giving out detailed updates or a timeline for expected progress. Only one of two things would happen. Either the prediction isn't met and people get upset and they anger potential future customers, or it is met and absolutely nothing changes.

What's in it for them to give press conferences on how the deal is progressing? Nothing.

Stop penalizing Bernard Tapie for not personally catering to your impatience.

Well, that's not entirely true. There are a lot of people (I'm not included) who start to build up a grudge against their policy of silence over such a long period when they published not very useful information (debts of pros) before.

And I don't think it is impossible for them to publish a statement without being held for it.

Just write a little diclaimer saying that there's an uncertainty in all actions they're taking and then briefly uncover what the recent progress looks like and what they INTEND to do.

Followed by a little disclaimer saying that they hope to realize whatever intentions they're having, but they - sorry for that - cannot guarantee it. "Still, we're doing what we can to get everything back up and running, friends!" - signed: Laurent Tapie.
