Well, that's not entirely true. There are a lot of people (I'm not included) who start to build up a grudge against their policy of silence over such a long period when they published not very useful information (debts of pros) before.
And I don't think it is impossible for them to publish a statement without being held for it.
Just write a little diclaimer saying that there's an uncertainty in all actions they're taking and then briefly uncover what the recent progress looks like and what they INTEND to do.
Followed by a little disclaimer saying that they hope to realize whatever intentions they're having, but they - sorry for that - cannot guarantee it. "Still, we're doing what we can to get everything back up and running, friends!" - signed: Laurent Tapie.
