You're probably right. She only said correct things for the past 16 months and now decided to say "**** it, I'm going to lie to make this site some money".

I haven't used mine yet. ONE F**KING TIME!

cliffs: deal is done. Source undisclosed. Huge news to follow shortly.
Just would add that she claims her source is "impeccable"

IoM get this as do the NV regulations, at the end of the day we as players can individually support those sites that protect players as waq suggests:

(P.S. kinda ironic that the you both replied to my last post ITT)

re: recent settlement rumours
IMHO - the USAO (SDNY) are arguably the most experienced in negotiating settlements in cases of this nature - if they can't neg. a deal then probably no one can.

On a brighter note good weekend all - I'm off with the other 1billion+ to watch the London 2012 Olympics...
Hmmm..
That quote from me was from a post from internet poker aka the zoo. You get around!

I have friends in London. If I ever can get back there I will buy you a drink.

Enjoy!

I guess I haven't been following this too closely. Didn't know she was so well respected.

Just once I would like Lucy to keep the football planted so I can kick it.
07-27-2012 , 02:07 PM
so this is the real deal right?
07-27-2012 , 02:07 PM
iirc wasnt this the writer who was extremely pessimistic about any type of deal happening with ftp? pretty sure she never wrote anything about a deal being done before

and here i thought DF would be delivering the news!!
07-27-2012 , 02:08 PM
Where is DF???? Who knows, she could be going over with someone what she can and cannot disclose with us... till it's made official? They may just tell her "you can tell them its done, but we will give out the details when we are ready".
07-27-2012 , 02:08 PM
Wait. Deal done?

Can any respected 2+2er confirm this?

I don't believe it... yet.
07-27-2012 , 02:09 PM
This is likely to be an announcement on a new motion, not earth shattering going to get your money back announcement but good news.
07-27-2012 , 02:09 PM
I'm not a troll and it is 100% not going to happen. The collective enthusiasm of those in this thread are better served in pressuring the DOJ to go after assets of shareholders that are now in possession of our stolen money.

I also think extensive, organized letter writing campaigns to the judge presiding over the Bitar case once he is sentenced would be helpful as well. We will never see our money; our only hope is some justice administered by the DOJ.

A small victory perhaps, but I am not quite sure why these shareholders get to keep our money. It is baffling. The right thing is for Pokerstars to announce this isn't happening so we can focus on what do next.

As long as there is no closure and false hope for everyone, the less energy is directed to doing what needs to be done - going after the assets of anyone that received a dividend payment as a shareholder of FTP. It isn't there money. They need to ****ing give it back and the sooner we can focus on that the better.

I know pokerstars doesn't care, but they need to announce the truth, that it is not going to happen so we can focus on what to do next.
