(1) It depends on what kind of contracts they had with FTP, but my guess would be that the contracts were either set to expire after a certain amount of time and/or there may be some clause where either the players or the site could get out of the contract if there was a change of ownership or something. Also, since FTP probably hasn't been paying the pros since the shutdown, they would likely not be obligated to work for the site if it restarts.

(2) As far as why they haven't gone to Stars, I doubt that Stars has much need to sign mostly American pros, who do not have much name recognition outside of the States, especially ones who are generally viewed as weak players by most of the online community.

This is so hilarious that some busto sports bettor and limit poker player is pretending to be the one guy that is privy to inside info on a multi million dollar business deal. I'm sure as soon as negotiations end for the day the top executives say quick get china man on the phone. Then let Dan druff know that we are seriously telling him the info. Just google china and find his real identity. Says it all.

That's because no one really knows the answer. The fact that you are posting about this makes you a target for scorn from many on this thread, because it is so low a priority compared to the other aspects. Be prepared for flaming if you continue, but it is certainly your right to post if you want to . NVG can be a rough tavern LOL

I agree with your assessment of the information, but if you ever heard China talk on a podcast you'd know he isn't 'creative' enough to concoct this story, someone is feeding him this drivel.

I am still. Have faith, stay strong!

At least the thread is entertaining again. We can thank Chinamaniac for that. I would rather read BS from Chinamaniac than a wall of text from DTM.
