watching yesterdays stream. Gus Hansen calls a 2.85x from BB with 82o 3 ways, B opened, SB flats, he flats. I find it highly unlikely he's churning a profit with that call. he leads a K 6 4 r board for just under 1/3rd OOP. checks down HU when he makes his pair of deuces on the river, sick SD value. quite the funny hand

Anyone know if this WSOPE is going to be shown on BT sport/ESPN like the main wsop is?

You suspect Gus Hansen isn't churning a profit in a very questionable NL spot? That's ambitious to say!

Was hoping there was a chance Phil Ivey might show up after seeing his name on that list on the WSOP site - guess he didn't show up after all, but Gus Hansen or Patrik Antonius from the original Poker After Dark did. It doesn't seem like they have been playing too much over the last couple of years?

Guess Gus' style's maybe different from how the pros play today - kind of interesting when people show up and have slightly different lines. Phil Hellmuth seems to sometimes have some unusual lines, but it looks like he didn't come back today for another go at things - guess will have to hope he's on a feature table of the ME

Still 39 players left - it looks like this tourney could go well into the night?

Below the schedule of live streams listed at wsop.com, they mentioned something about making recordings of the One Drop and the ME for tv - but it didn't seem to say in the fine print who would be showing the show?

just flipped it on during the nitchsch 10 10 (hit set on river) hand vs Khabrel

few people love watching poker more than me.

had to stop watching because of Khabrel.. dude is just too slow and it titled me to watch him sitting for minutes and minutes with every decision.

is doing that just to tilt other players.

Wsop needs shot clocks !

He also did a major angle shoot vs Tryonovskiy on the river. He did 2 shots, actually and dude is a douche.

TrustySam, Antonius featured heavily in the new version of EPT Monaco on Channel 4. It's back at 00:45 on Thursdays.

He got kicked out already but maybe they are still on 4OD.

Badziakouski can't make river decisions without having a timebank ticking him down

Hey, thanks so much for mentioning that ABdeVilliers!! Have several hundred tv channels that come with my cable package, yet only seem to wind up watching about 6 of them on a regular basis So never would have noticed that there were poker tourneys showing on tv, if they don't show up on those handful of channels

Just checked my tv's tv guide to see what sort of poker may be available in my neck of the woods - it looks like we've got some WSOP, a WPT, and also a PokerStars charity tourney featuring PS pros and hockey players? haha

My iphone wasn't saving photos, so this pic using my ipad's a bit grainy - guess the trouble with my iphone could be because it's not a genuine Apple product But it looks like may be because my icloud is full?

Those EPTs were great - guess if Patrik Antonius is still playing, maybe he and Gus may stop by Poker After Dark sometime just like old times, and may be able to catch them playing again then hopefully?

Thanks ABdeVilliers!

PS. Managed to catch a bit of the stream in the afternoon, and there seemed to be a different kerfuffle involving Martin Kabrhel ... it sounded like people thought he may have allegedly tried to steal a chip from someone, or something like that? Did anyone else catch something like that?

Hope they bring in a shot clock STAT some of the decision times are becoming absurd. Agonising over a tough decision is fine but this balancing timing tells phenomenon has become ridiculous.

2 episodes of EPT/PokerStars championship here:

http://www.channel4.com/programmes/p...mand/67436-001

You'd need a VPN as it's uk/RoI only.

Oh wow - did a bit of a search to see if there were any recordings online, and didn't have anything pop up with my Google search. Thanks AB! Will be great to have something else to check out as an alternative to Dancing with the Stars, etc haha

PS Also did a google search of Andreas Eiler, and couldn't find much - wonder what his background is?

Watching poker WITHOUT A SHOT CLOCK is worse than watching paint dry

David and Laura got us some background info, in case anyone missed it David said Eiler's a former football (soccer?) coach, and current online heads-up crusher ... although it looks like things aren't going so well for him right now?
