Pretty solid list imo. Dunno 'bout DN with "only" 2nd place at the WSOPE main event. And maybe you could add either or both Ville Wahlbeck and Jani Vilmunen to that list.

I got a good chuckle out of Feldman's Final thought.

The list was better than I had expected, but I still find it difficult to rank poker players when tournament players and cash game players are mixed in one list. They should've made two different lists for each category, imo.

Antonius up $7 million this year and they mention his $700k month? And Galfond is in 9th and they mention the $150k he won this month?

this list is really dumb, they just blend cash game players with tournament players in a way that makes no sense.

btw andrew feldman doesn't seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer - anyone watch the WSOP ME final table bust-out interviews where he was always dying to get in his great question to each player - "how does it feel to have your friends and family out here supporting you?" - great question andrew, that's gonna get some really interesting answers

No votes for Ziigmund? Won $6.8m so far in 2009 on full tilt and he gets less votes than Michael Binger.

The first sentence of Feldman's final thoughts pretty much sums up his knowledge of poker.

its probably a waste of time to poke at specific things like this - its easier just to agree that the list is retarded and was compiled by retards

Re: ESPN's top 10 poker played atm...

I expected this to be the worst list ever.

I expected to see Annie Duke's name.

Surprisingly, it was better than I thought. Still nearly retarded, but better than I was expecting.

Re: ESPN's top 10 poker played atm...

TBH i think they did a pretty solid job, at least compared to my expectation. Obv. it's nearly impossible to make such a list mixing online/live/tournament/cash players, but the results could have been far worse imo.

And "Also receiving votes: Isildur1" is pretty hillarious..

Re: ESPN's top 10 poker played atm...

I think most of the list was compiled before Ziigmund made his run the past few days.
