I can totally see why he didn't zealously try to collect the debt at the time. The money train was unstoppable at that point and nobody saw an end in sight in 2005. He prob never thought there was even a remote chance he wouldn't get paid the first time he pressed. And who could blame him for thinking that?

I saw him playing a deep 5/5 game at a casino a few months ago and he only had $200 in front of him. He looked as broken as they come, but didn't look drugged out by any means.

Remember the vast majority of the times we saw him was either on a TV set or from a magazine shoot; where he was made up, under the right lighting as well as being 8-14 years younger and also obv not having the stress of worrying about money day to day as he had the FTP free money coming.
