An addict who took advantage of everyone who trusted him? You realize you just described almost every type of addict there is? That's what addicts do. And alot of the people who "trusted" him were people preying on the fact that he was a crappy sports bettor and just wanted to take advantage of him. What does that say about their moral compass? What does that say when that type of predatory behavior is praised in the poker world? Maybe it's the poker world that's scummy

yes, a lot of addicts will take advantage of their friends and family but not all of them. the ones who would sink that low are morally corrupt. a lot of them are that's why they become addicts but some will try to get help before they sink that low. Not all addicts are scum, some just make bad decisions and get caught up.

I think you are talking about the fantasy league. I was talking about loans, staking arrangements and sport betting debt from Eric.
Eli Elezra was boring on line from players and cashing it out. Players allowed him to get to high. He also was borrowing chips in Bobbys room and cashing out. The players thought he would loose it back to the game was the idea but, Eli and his wife did hide and seek tricks during the game...handing off and etc..
He became a scumbag. Real scumbag. Rationalized it in his head that those guys have enough of his money so f them!
