Of course it does. It makes people who were previously not aware that they could play poker online aware of PokerStars' existence.

re: EPT Berlin Armed Robbery

According to this source,

http://www.pokerolymp.de/articles/sh...n+Live+-+Tag+4

there are some new facts about the incident.

1) By now, the redistribution of the player's chips based on the video footage of the tournament room is finished. The tournament will be continued until the end of next blind level.

2) A hand between Ilkka Tahkokallio and Luca Cainelli which could not be completed due to the robbery was continued with the agreement of Tahkokallio, who was underdog in the situtation.

Luca Cainelli indeed won the hand and doubled up. He is being mucked by other players as "the worst slowroller in the history of poker". LOL!

3) The women's tournament is being proceeded according to the will of the players.

4) Some players of the tournament state that Pokerstars should give every remaining player 1 Million.

5) Reportedly, there was NO money stolen.

So far for now.

Well it's Germany's biggest tabloid BILD / BILD am Sonntag (BamS = Bild on Sunday). More pictures and some vid on their website:

Epic pics! Did security really use flash-bangs or is that guard throwing something else?

Also, take clothes from security guard, perform DNA analysis, find DNA of robber, then arrest him. God, it's so hard being a criminal these days.

Hi All,

The 1K Side Event that started today has been cancelled and all players will be refunded.

The Ladies Event and High Roller Event, plus all of the events playing Day 2 or 3, are continuing.

The Main Event should restart between 6 and 6:30pm. The webcast will not resume this evening.
