Entraction to ban players from Canada, Israel, Norway, Russia and Turkey

No idea, was hoping someone had more info. I don't even like entraction, but found it very weird that they would ban countries that command such a big share of the playerpool on most sites.

Is it just not the affiliates that are banned serving these countries?
Article refers to deals not players bases - sign up for new account?

It is interesting (and questionable IMHO) that they include Canada in this list. The other listed countries, however, all have pretty clear laws against online poker.

IGT bought the network while ago and they obviously dream of entering the US market once it is legalized. Thus they are trying to make everything very "clean".

This sucks. I play exclusively on Entraction now and this is gonna result in a tougher player pool for sure.

still no one gets the reasons why they are doing this?? I just dont' see any connections with the countries that banned from online poker...
