they are working on a stand alone platform (for zynga games, not poker only) platform for a while right know.
what i understand, they not only plan to offer poker. their slot machines are also very popular (in april there were rumors, that zynga and wynn want to cooperate).
anyway: even when ppl spent a lot of money for playmoney (or other social games), it doesn't mean that they will open an real money account.
there are ppl out there, how pay more than $50 for a single golf club (virtual) in a comic look-a-like golf game, but won't pay the same amount for a 'real' poker simulation (where al clubs etc are included).
still zynga would bring some new fish, but a second 'gold rush' (moneymaker like) is doubtful
@ Zynga & real money in the US
if they find a partner (e.g. wynn, playtech ...) who can apply (or already applied) for a license in nevada, they can start offering real money games (well when the ngc hands out the licence ...)
