Re: DURRRRS MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE (DB and Ivey accept)

Why would he care about becoming a part of team FT?

He's clearly good enough, and a far cry better than a lot of the idiots that are red names on there. Couldn't he be red now if he wanted to be?

He could be a red name. I think he's holding out for being deemed on the Antonius level with a shot at getting an actual financial stake in the company.

Re: DURRRRS MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE (DB and Ivey accept)

If Durr loses the first match I don't think he will be able to continue. Don't think he can stand to lose potentially 10mil+ and ante up again without backers. I suspect It might be a Galfond/Durr partnership who knows maybe even the Dangs have a piece.

Also if he wins all 3 matches pretty sure he would be such a ****ing legend, this is def as ballsy as they come and if he's smart could cut a nice FTP deal.

Yes.

So he's risking a bit of money to become a part owner of the site. Not a bad deal

Re: DURRRRS MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE (DB and Ivey accept)

if Durrr wins 2/3 or all 3 i think he will go on to crush the poker world and be the next poker superstar.

if he loses it could well be a huge stepback in stakes for him.

you're right... epic isn't the word

Benyamine's obv going to be HUPLO, probably exclusively, will it be the same for PA and Ivey or would they play him in NL?

Re: DURRRRS MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE (DB and Ivey accept)

1 of 3 AT LEAST is going to make a HUGE amount of money no matter if he make all the right decisions. I doubt very few people could play 150,000 hands without a big downswing or some variance and at 200/400 its going to cost him alot.

My prediction he beats 1 of 3. I doubt he will even have the money to play ivey and i think he will have a horribly crushed br after all of this.

Ivey won ~13 million from Andy Beal. He loves these kinda challenges.

Re: DURRRRS MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE (DB and Ivey accept)

Listen, Durrrr didn't think this through whatsoever. It was just something he said to that reporter instead of: "Heads up I'm the best".
Now, the reporter printed it as a sensational challenge, and now Durrr more or less has to play someone. So, I don't think he ever thought about being apart of FullTilt, getting his name in red or any other ****.

He will definately just play one person, if there's anyone to play after he has made up the rules...
