How many players have the combination of

bankroll big enough to play
can and regularly do 4 table HU
willingness to get tied into this
actually be skilled enough to win

It does sound like he is bored to be honest, I mean what else is there left to achieve online for him? And he doesn't seem like the bracelet-chasing type.

Re: DURRRRS MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE

Is there really no simple push/fold strategy analogous to "The System" for tournaments that would make you less than a 3-1 dog over 50K hands that would make this bet +EV (other than the time/opportunity cost factor and assuming that you dont each keep the money won/lost as well)?

Didn't Sklansky prove out an example that 2-1 would be a terrible bet in a freezeout?

I think Antonius is the most likely to accept this challenge since he can obviously afford it and always complains about getting no heads up action.

Re: DURRRRS MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE

even though it's 50k hands, eventually someone will be up enough money to fold every single hand and win the side bet.

if any world class player accepts, i can't see how durrrr isn't hypothetically burning money.

Re: DURRRRS MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE

He makes no mention of stack sizes. Someone very good, but not as a good as durrr could start the matches shortstacking against him to increase the variance and that might make them much less than a 3-1 dog.

Re: DURRRRS MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE

I think a solid shortstack player would have a good edge in this bet if durr didnt bitch about him buting in for 20-30bbs and ratholing. Not like that would ever happen but I could think of many people who would be +EV considering the sidebet with the proper stacksizes.

Re: DURRRRS MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE

surely u could just play him at the highest stakes 500/1000 and if u get a full buyin up then move down to the smallest stakes he said he would allow 200/400 and pretty much fold every hand.
