I don't think it obviously concludes anything of the sort. Firstly this was her estimation of the value of FT and even if she had won the case she would be extremely unlikely to get this. Secondly it wasn't based on earnings lost over 4 years, the $40mill was based on the net worth of 1% ownership of FT. It's also worth noting that the yearly "wages" given to Team Full Tilt players does not necessarily reflect the % of the company they have negotiated. The sums given to individual players are undisclosed and based on private arrangements between FT and that player. As far as I'm aware it doesn't necessarily work on a dividend basis.

When you want a share of FTP nowadays you need to find someone who has already a share and is willing to sell it!

I can't imagine to get a share, for free, of a company which is worth maybe 10-40 billion $$$. That would be absurd!
