Phew. What a week. Watching high stakes heads-up is weird, 'cos it can get dull very quickly, but when you remind yourself of the money on the table, it suddenly becomes interesting again. Either way, it was definitely an experience. Let's hope folk like Ivey, Antonius, FullFlush, etc give it a crack. What a show that would be.
I've just got back from interviewing durrrr at the Ambassaduers. He looked pretty tired and wasn't particularly chatty, but it was good to ask him some questions. He's no FullFlush though, he's very careful about what he says and when I asked about Isildur, it was very much a "we'll see" kind of thing. He seemed like a nice guy though, although I still can't believe he didn't go to bed before playing 500 hands against Ziigmund for half a mil.
