That was pretty sick. Props to Doug just even being able to sit there for 8 hours streaming with all the moronic chat and still binking a 5k tourney. Surely streaming and showing hole cards has to be -ev for Doug? Or because he is so balanced, it doesn't really matter?

Doug failed to break his own record tonight, which was $455k on stream in last year's WCOOP high roller.

He does now have the distinction of being the first person to win over $1 million on stream.

Thanks everyone, was really amazing to get to run so good and win a big tourney.

I just want people to remember that in times like these, there will be the opposite on the stream. At the end of the day winrate is realized over time. It is still awesome when you get to take a tournament down though

Tbh this made me more of a believer that cash game players are better than tourney ones. Doug exploited a lot of scenarios where tourney regs are typically unbalanced. The overbetting worked out unbelievably well on rivers this time around as well and prob confused everyone.

Its kinda funny, he got lucky in the PP tourney and binked it, but actually should have shipped the 888 tourney but ran terrible down the stretch. It all evened out in the end.

Again, congrats. Was enjoyable to watch.
