The game improves a bit – the producer had wandered off and he comes back. Doug Lee sits down in seat 1 (http://www.pokerpages.com/players/pr...3/doug-lee.htm - told you I’d find your ass on the Internet Mr. Lee – he wouldn’t tell me his name but I knew he was a pro from someplace.) He sits short stacked at around $300 or so and gambools it up a little in some random hands.
Hand comes up between me & Mr. Lee. I pickup AKo in the hijack, raise to $25 or so. Folds to Mr. Lee who as I said is fairly short stacked. He makes it $80 and starts chirping at me about hurry up and give action – I accommodate his request and call figuring I’ll get it in on almost any flop since he’s short, I’m putting $80 PF and I want to see 5 cards with my AK. Flop comes 10-10-x with yes…the 2 diamonds again! I swear, I’m not making up the diamonds bit. Mr. Lee fires $105 into $170ish and has about $100 behind now – I think a little and toss in the $500 chip someone had sat down with and had me change for them and declare all-in since that chip covers Mr. Lee. He thinks a bit and folds. Afterward I ask if he had AK and he says yes and asks what I had – I lie and say QQ. As I was leaving I tell him I had AK too though he may not have even had that much here and been thinking he’d just run me over.
lol he wouldn't tell him his name
wonder if this thread has anything to do with that
