Can it be more clear?
Sit out might be misinterpreted.
People need to NOT LOG IN on NOV 5th.

Am I correct?

Y'all should move your volume to the 2nd best site.
You are incorrect. One day of 3,000 odd players not logging in who play abi 30 plus will lose them a big chunk.

why dont you pick a better date .... Like a Sunday... so that they dont make the guarantee's only then will it make an impact for every 1 not playing and playing ...

It might make the news then.... just a normal Wednesday.... either bunch of people get banned funds taken or there is no Blib on radar...

That's out of line. I understand the frustration but that's way to personal and potentially dangerous for someone that's unstable.

sitting out not only gets your own account banned it might affect other players who happens to sit out to take a bathroom break. in stars pro dale philips blog, he talked about how he sat out for a poo break during some mass sit out, stars thought he was one of them and banned him too.

we have a chat of over 300 HUSNG regulars (up to the highest stakes available) willing to not play on a specific day as a protest... i think even nif it seems meaningless everyone should be united and try to voice up the issue

What is missing here is a monetary incentive for regs to grind on another site so that even the more self interested regs will participate. Therefore, I suggest that organizers contact other sites letting them know how Stars regs are really dissatisfied with Amaya and wish to stage a regular day of protest but would like a bonus for doing so by playing at their particular site. If I were a competing site and a group of 500 Stars regs offered to come play at my site for a day I would be salivating at the mouth. I don't think it would be too hard for them to offer a 1 day deposit bonus (or even better, a non-deposit play-through bonus). If it works, make it a monthly thing or w/e.

This must be done very strategically, and we must sacrifice the most amount we can in order to put the maximum possible pressure on Amaya.

Therefore, under the condition that this strike will be repeated once per week by every participant, and the lost volume will not be compensated on other days, I will take part in this.

PS: sitting out won't do anything. It's also not neccessary. Not logging in for 24 hours will do.

You need a different plan. I mean really, a real strike could work, if 75% of regs actually decided to not play for a day. However, good luck getting 75% of regs to not show up, unfortunately, that's just not going to happen, considering there's always going to be more than 25% of regs being "OMG no regs, games are so good right now, let's play 24 tables).
Yep it will be party like it's 2003 all over again.....

The people who will stop playing those games might start playing your games making them that much harder for you too.

Let's say 90 people systematically play 180 SNGs. So as soon, as one fills up, 90 people sign up for the next one. Let's say regs stop playing those. How much more time will it take to fill up such an SNG? How many recreational players will give up waiting for the next one to start? Does a site lose money from that?

I'm in for not logging in at AmayaStars wednesday, it's a good plan.
Also I suggest to keep the money at minimum in the cashier as a precaution, you never know what the new ownership can do.

This is the reason a protest such as this can be influential.

Regs are just a tiny fraction of players. They are however a humongous part of the play.

RUBBISH - Regs are a massive percentage of pokerstars revenue.

If the top 50 SE elite were to stop playing on pokerstars, it would be a huge blow to their top line revenue.

thanks guys!

the games will be nice and easy on the 5th of november!

cheers!

you guys are just the customer. if you don't like the product or price of the product they are selling, take your business elsewhere.

pokerstars owe you guys nothing. you have no right to disrupt pokerstars operations than to disrupt a deli because you think they charge too much for sandwiches.

it's a gambling site. find another site to gamble on if you think pokerstars is too expensive. if you still feel the need to gamble at poker stars despite your grievances then maybe it's time to ask yourself if you have a gambling problem.
