Don Ohonjo is a scammer/thief - Page 4 - Poker News

Untrue.

Steven Ware wrote bad checks to two of the guys that backed him in last year's WSOP; he still owes approx 10k to one and $500 to another. To my knowledge he skipped out on these debts and dropped all contact with his backers.

The amount he owes me will be decided later this year in civil court.
Due to pending litigation I can't say much more than this.

I was a student at UNC-Chapel Hill for the past 4 years and have known Don for that entire time through mutual poker games. Haven't seen him since this past spring but this info doesn't shock me at all. The guy definitely seems like the kind of person who would do something like this and actually owes a couple of my friends varying amounts (although not as high as OP's debt).

bumping this to update that Don has been posting on a new name on 2+2. he's now posting under the account TLY. just wanted to give a warning to anyone in case they were going to trade/loan money with him. as of today he hasn't paid me anything back yet and afaik, nothing to the sportsbetting regs he owed either
