Agreed.
I cannot see how introducing more people to the game and allowing more people to feel comfortable depositing is a bad thing.

Neg's stream is better than any poker twitch stream out there thus far and it's like zero effort for him.. no sub button, no donations, no faq

He said, "There is a guy that continuation bets 100% of flops and now he never wins. He also owes me $100k. Where's my money??"

Pretty sure he is talking about Barry G.

Has to be and I missed the part about him talking about folding the boat.

Also, over 9k viewers HYPE, this is good for poker. He is talking about being able to beat 25/50 right now. He still thinks he can. Edit: He is explaining well though, effin good guy Daniel man. Hard to not like the guy

Poor staples numbers are dropping now =[

DN would get so ridiculously wrecked at 25/50 vs regs lol

Yes beat to death topic...

What a lot of the other streamers don't realize is that streaming 4+ tables is very annoying for the viewer. You can't see the detail good enough. I'm using dual 2560 X 1600 30" monitors here and even when I follow a stream at the highest resolution they aren't sending it at a high enough resolution for me to see the table detail clearly here. Also there is too much going on and it makes it very confusing for the viewer.

Daniel is doing it right:

1. Streaming 1 table...easy to follow.
2. Keeping it light with lots of non-poker banter.
3. Some poker strategy in small bites that are easily digestible.

= fun fun fun

Is it not a real disadvantage to play on twitch if his opponents are following it? I know this is only a small change for Daniel but he was playing 200/400 mixed game on it the last day

he talked about playing an "asian kid" in a hoodie in the hu event at wsop. said the kid - who beat daniel in the event - was giving him a hard time, kinda being disrespectful and rude, and how bitcoin was the future.

dnegs didn't say it was btcblade - i'll bet he doesn't even know who that is. the chatters on twitch assumed it was btcblade cuz of the bitcoin comment. i guess we could look up if it was tommy chen who beat daniel. not sure of the year.

it was a quick response to someone in chat asking daniel if he's gonna play the 10K headsup at this year's wsop.

Yeah, that hand was great.

Raises A7s in EP...gets flatted by guy right behind him

Flop come 997, Daniel Cbets

Turn comes another 9. Daniel bets and says it is for protection against flush/straight draws

DN was good at poker 200 years ago. At the same time Gus was good

But yeah him on Twitch is good for poker because "average poker idiot/fan" doesn't understand just how bad DN is compared to today's true top pros (haxton, jungle, galfond, etc)

The old guard should really stop embarrassing themselves. Sometimes it's just time to let the young generation carry the torch.

I was thinking of good analogies for the old guard still trying to show off or pretend like they're good or somehow relevant or important. This is a good one. It's like those over the hill 45 year old hags with old faces and cellulite wearing ultra-short miniskirts and acting like they still got "it". It's EMBARRASSING.

Big fan of the kids in 'Children of the Corn'?

never said he played it correctly but him folding a boat is somewhat exciting for the viewers since they don't usually expect something like that happening, which may get people to play poker and make "cool" plays like that

as for his poker skill, i think he made a lot of questionable decisions where the best play (in my opinion) was totally different than what he did. still an awesome stream though

I'd love to know how. I watch Big Dog stream 4 tables on a 30" monitor and I can't see the detail good enough even at "source" quality selected.

I recommend glasses. I watched the BDog a few times on my 26" without problems.

He's correct.

A 108 could river a 10 or 8 and have him beat as could a flush draw that hits a pair higher than 7. Better to fold those hands out to avoid a suck out or make them pay for a bad draw.

I don't need glasses. I'm using a font of 6 for the HEM HUD on my 2560 x 1600 30" screen...the stats are tiny as **** and I can see them clearly, but when I'm watching BigDog streaming 4 tables it is very low res.
