I guess I'm partially to blame for being ignorant of just how clueless most of NVG is about poker theory/strategy. Reason being in NVG there's never any poker strategy talk so it's hard to know just how out of touch with reality some are.

Kind of feels like a different world from the strategy forums in HSNL and MSNL where you'd be hardpressed to find many people defending much of DN's play at all. Given the hands posted in this thread, seen on all seasons of HSP, and some of the logic posted by DN himself... that's more than enough of a sample size to come to some kind of realistic idea of his NLHE cash game abilities compared with how tough the games are in todays games. That is assuming you actually play NLHE in todays games which most of NVG doesn't, thus the reason why the whole debate can't even get anywhere. It does give insight though into who has a clue and what not though. Like this gem here I'm seeing while reading through:

This thread is not good for poker mainly because even though yes BBV and NVG bustos know about sites like CR.... they are moreso motivated now to check it out from being results oriented and thinking "omg my hero losing to random online turd, how do i learn the magic".
