Re: Day 8 Main Event Thread

Problem with Phil being short is that the other players respect his game too much to spew to him. No one wants to give him chips.

Only way I see him doubling up is a sick cooler, or winning a flip.

He's got to chip away, play small pot poker.

Re: Day 8 Main Event Thread

pokernews ****ed up this year with their ****ty updating. its down to 2 tables, they could be updating every hand if they had a few people alternating. its hard to believe the excuse that they cant get close when they bought the exclusivity contract

Steal, Re-Steal, Re-Re-Steal?
In a hand that is destined not to make the ESPN television production of this tournament, Billy Kopp opened from middle position with a raise to 450,000. Action moved next to Ben Lamb, who reraised to 1.375 million. That reraise drew folds from Kevin Schaffel and Jordan Smith. Small blind Jeff Shulman did the exact opposite -- he moved all in. Everyone else folded, allowing Schuman to add 2 million chips to his stack without taking a flop.

Why does it say this hand is destined NOT to make the espn tv coverage?

Re: Day 8 Main Event Thread

Antoine moves all-in over the top of a Begleiter reraise and Begleiter folds and is mad when the bluff is shown...then shakes Antoine's hand
