Re: Daniel Tzvetkoff Book - Can you help?
I would suggest The Rise and Fall and Fractured, State-by-State, Piecemeal Quasi-Rise of Online Poker: A Moneygrab Story.
OP, might we be familiar with some of your other work?

Ok. This guy is likely a mainstream author, doesn't know jack about 2+2 or its characters, fully discloses his intentions and politely asks for help or a few pointers, and of course a forum reg with 2k+ posts jumps on the opportunity to demand the author's head. Nice first impression, mate.
Question remains why you feel inclined to post such a worthless reply mere seconds after OP's opening remarks?

Are those books by any chance? I haven't come across them yet. Any idea where I might be able to get them?
I have predominantly written biographies and autobiographies of soccer stars in the UK to date. My latest book is called, Duncan Edwards: The Greatest. However I have also just finished writing the memoirs of Iraq's top criminal lawyer, who happened to work on death row and for members of Saddam's regime.

Also, you should probably venture into the strat forums. That's were you're likely to find people actually affected by this as opposed to those who are just disappointed they missed a year's worth of seeing Ivey on the TV.

As for the payment processor guy, he seems really kick-ass, just wish he wouldn't have snitched and gotten FTP and stars shut down in the US, but it's hard to knock a guy for doing something 99% of people wouldve done.

Im sorry what? He was just as much in the wrong as the people he snitched on, and then on top of that he was stealing from those people... He is not kick-ass, he is a dick.

^^^He's suggesting a very sarcastic title to your book, not recommending other books. This forum is very much full of dry, cynical people with a negative expectation of life in general. The current state of online poker has affected the attitude of the community as a whole. Take most things you read here with a grain of salt, but understand where negativity comes from and translate that into your book.
You will find all the information you could hope for here, but you might have to deal with a few trolls to find it. Best of luck!

I met a hooker in Thailand last winter called Moki. True story.
Should have banged her. Now every time I see your name I'm filled with regret.

Re: Daniel Tzvetkoff Book - Can you help?
This wouldn`t be a good book if tzetkoff had been smart and laid low while he did what he did. He did the opposite so the book will prob be pretty good :P Madoff bios were pretty popular so this might work as well- i guess the basic premise is the fraudster getting his comeuppance.

Good post.
---
As for Tzvetkoff, I have no information to add, but I will speculate that we will find out he was more of an irresponsible degenerate always bound to go broke who happened to be in the right place at the right time to step into an insane amount of money. Yet we'll see that he still stole money on top of that, still went bankrupt and then settled on turning in his business partners to an overzealous government enforcement agency that just couldn't help but pursue the giant money grab that was online poker.
Oh, and I think we'll see that Tzvetkoff's actions in this world were much worse for pretty much everybody here than say PokerStars.
In short, it'll be nice to read that our government cut Stalin a deal to rat out the local petty thief. Who cares how the actions of a government impact a few million poker players, so long as 10s of millions of dollars are involved that's clearly a favorable trade off in the best interests of the taxpayer.

Re: Daniel Tzvetkoff Book - Can you help?
I'm looking forward to reading this book when it comes out. In Tzvetkoff fashion, I'll blow all my cash on bottles, strippers, and coke, then steal it from a torrent.

Re: Daniel Tzvetkoff Book - Can you help?
Hopefully you present the book from the perspective things actually happened in that the DOJ cut the real criminal a deal to go after the online poker industry.
Will definitely read the book when it's out.
I hope Daniel Tzvetkoff dies a painful and lonely death.
