People itt don't realize how many mix game events (including a bunch of $5k+ for bonus scoring) there are so strictly nl guys aren't as valuable

You have to understand how points are earned. Haxton and Mike are NLHE specialists, not mixed. With this scoring, people that will play tons of events, especially the small field higher buyin events (ie 10k stud, 2-7, razz, etc) are of a ton more value than guys that play almost strictly NL... The chances of getting top 18 where the real points are made in a NL event are extremely low with the huge fields an quick structures... The chances of getting top 18 or final tabling in a 10k 2-7 with 93 entrants are much higher.

This is why Timex goes for $1 in this format and why guys like Ivey, Lissandro, Greenstein go ridiculously high... And why guys like Sabic, Luneau, Goldman, Deeb, etc when compared to timex and haxton and isildur and others are sooooo much more valuable.

after I busted the 25k Hastings told me he drafted me for $5 and I laughed at the idea that I was even drafted at all. I've played only one non-NLHE WSOP event ever. joke that I went for 5x Ben Yu.
