BET is one of the most racist television stations that I have ever watched (I watch it on a regular basis because of the hip hop music and good movies) but some of the comments by people on that station are unbelievable! So BET is not a racist station but if we had WET then that is racist? does this make sense to anyone?

I agree with DN on this one! set your TV on BET for about 3-4 hours today and after you watch it, come back on this forum and tell me that you didn't hear any racist comments about white people on BET (most of it is funny white jokes). Now, let say that we had WET, and on that station... there were white people making funny jokes about black people. EVERYONE WOULD GO APE!@$ CRAZY! DN is just pointing out the double standard. This does not make him a racist! just pointing out the truth! and I love the BET station (its still a racist TV station though). I guess ignorant comments made on TV don't bother me to much to care, good music and fun action movies bring me to BET not the racist people they have on there station...

Most people I know, regardless of race, would be happy to have a cop show up a make sure their property was not being broken into. I'm not saying the cop doesn't share in the blame, or that he handled it well. But to say he arrested him because he was racist is just ignorant. If you can't admit that Gates shares some of the blame then I feel bad for you. You need to let the hate go.

You misunderstand. I have no issue with cops coming to check on the house. NOR I have an issue about Gates' culpability... It's where a person gets arrested for having a bad attitude (cranky because of a 12 + hour trip from China) I have a issue with. The D.A. knew it and dropped the charges immediately.

I haven't watched BET in years, because they lost the reason that they're on the air.

Seriously, I stopped reading once I read where the news story came from. This website is one of the worst rag sites out there. Pretty much all they're "news" stories are silly rumors or flat out lies.
