I mean how happy can he be if he tries to show off how "badass" he is? I'm not hating, it's just a psychological fact. People who are badass don't have a need to show people that they are. He does it to make people envious so he can raise his diminished self esteem. Needing the acceptance of others is a huge sign of low self esteem.

And usually these types of posts where people want to try to make assertions as to how he can't possibly be happy are merely them trying to make themselves feel better about their own meager existence. If they were to ever allow themselves to believe that "hot women, freedom to not work, traveling, cars, and lots of money" were actually something that was *gasp* enjoyable to have and can improve quality of life, then having that belief makes their own life harder to accept if they don't see how they will ever have it. Much better to convince ones self that life while you're broke is just as awesome and great as life with money and more freedom.

No different than people rationalizing having an ugly girlfriend by saying "it's what's on the inside that counts". It's as though they overlook the option of finding someone who is *gasp* not only good on the inside, but actually doesn't look like dog ****. Applies to money as well, If you're already a happy person it definitely can enhance your happiness and enjoyment in life as long as your foundation is sound. Never understood why more people can't just accept that there will always be some people in the world who can't be happy no matter what they have, but that has nothing to do with the indisputable fact that having more money provides more leisure and freedom, which has a strong correlation to peoples quality of life.

See this does sort of piss me off. The way he talks about losing money gambling and the money he spends on cars/watches/private jets leads you to assume that 100k is nothing to him. It's probably the same as me giving away $100 in relative terms.

Most of the time you are spot on with your assumption. I can assure you that my post is no reflection of my unhappiness, I was only making a generalization from a psychological standpoint. I've never had millions or anything but I do also somewhat come from experience because I've had 6 figures and somewhat financial freedom and I know what it's like to be very disappointed in how it really didn't bring me the happiness I thought it would (i was actually the least happy i have ever been). I agree that it can bring happiness if you are content and don't go around flashing everything around. That's not what i see when I see Dan, clearly I don't know him he might be a real nice and cool guy but i'm just telling it how I see it, no disrespect

As for his lifestyle, I mean its pretty cool to not only have financial freedom but to be able to buy basically whatever you want, but everyones happiness is dependent on themselves rather then what they have. Everybody has their own steady state of happiness that they live in, whether you're rich middle class or poor, we all basically live on the same bandwidth and its only good/bad experiences that make was wander from our usual level to be excited/depressed for a little while before returning to our normal level

Blitz wouldnt be any more or less happy than any of us. He'll live his own balance is his own head and so will we. Its good not having to work/grind etc, but all of this in general is washed away. Whether he would get as excited as we would sitting in a ferrari I dont know, the point is having 100x better things in someones life doesnt make them 100x happier or sadder etc
