Lots of people have no desire for a life like his - at least not long term. This can be difficult for some to understand; some of those who strive for a life like his can't believe others would feel any differently. Hopefully one day they'll mature and understand different people want different things out of life, and perhaps want more themselves.

Pretty sure most of the better players are > avg height. Although Scandis are taller in general, it might be totally faulty. Initial concept is taller people are more confident(?), so that would check out. But I suspect if there's anything, it's that taller people face more combat growing up and are more resolved.

Absolutely no argument here. The lifestyle he leads is garbage, rooted entirely in his desire to impress and curate a synthetic image of himself. Its shallow, sad and a flawed-character indicator. Its extremely common among children of the wealthy.

The point I'm making is that surrounding yourself with a bunch of naked 8.5's and smoking weed on a private jet while using offshore trust-fund money to play high stakes poker against whale donks and sailing on yachts in Sardinia is the sort of thing that most people would gladly do, at any given point in time. Since any/all of that is unavailable to most, they're bitterly angered at those who can have it.

The whole discussion about what actually constitutes a rewarding life is an aside; people who pursue his lifestyle usually lack the sort of self-awareness to be introspective like that, ergo why they do what they do, but there is absolutely an undercurrent of jealousy among many of his haters since the sad life he lives in excess would be super fun in moderation... but most all cannot have even a wee little taste of it.

I've played $1/2 and $2/5 with him a number of times at Aria and Red Rock. He's always been extremely nice to everyone at the table, the games were nuts, he gave big tips to the floor and dealers, and everyone was having a blast. Last time at Aria he bought in $25k at $2/5 and nobody said anything. Almost all of the games he left the biggest winner too, people have a hard time adjusting to his out-of-the-box play and massive overbets. Some people just gotta hate.

A guy like him is almost always the biggest winner or loser in any given session, especially playing that low. Often both of that at different points of a session. I can second that he brings a ton of fun to the game and is extremely nice at the table.
