While I agree with the filming himself part, what was Bilzerian supposed to do unarmed and with no good idea about where the shooter was?

He's supposed to either run away as fast as he can or stay behind to help people in need. Taking out your phone and potentially slowing the egress of people around you while you futz around filming yourself as you move is the least useful option. The fact he likely did it out of his own narcissism just makes the decision that much worse.

I don't specially like DB (even though I'm obviously following him on social medias) but props to the man for helping, wonder how it'd feel to see all that jazz while buzzing hard on drugs.

lol ya my last instinct at a concert when live fire was coming down and people were being shot would be to livestream it. Granted bilz has cheated death a few times as have I so we might not take it as seriously as others even in real times of crisis.

People turn into idiots when something life threatening happens, especially if it involves a large crowd panicking. I wouldn't want to blame how someone reacts in that situation, since most of the time they are not acting on their normal rational or anything close to it. And while blaming them you might make it worse for them to get over it. It's some sort of victim blaming that most people are OK with for some reason.

Washington Post ran an article on Dan, related to the shooting.

Basically making fun of him, pulling negative things from his past and putting it in an article.

I really do not give a **** if anyone likes Dan or not, and there are plenty of things to criticize him about, but he really was at the area that was getting shot at by a ****ing psychotic guy in a 32nd floor room that no one on the ground could have done anything about.

Writing an article chastising a guy for his past and not wanting to hang out where someone is literally raining bullets down on people at random is beyond ****ing insane to me.

He, along with anyone there, is just lucky to be alive. How choosing now to point out his flaws and frame it as he's a pussy for wanting to stay alive is so ****ing mind numbing to me I can not comprehend it.

Perhaps reading the accounts of those who stayed behind to help others while the bullets were still flying might give you some perspective on the matter.

Neither can you. Like the veteran said instead of filming yourself running away for your IG followers, help the lady that was shot. DB is a narcissistic ahole propped up by his crooked daddy's bankroll. Also, last thing cops want at a crime scene is someone running around with a gun.

You're a moron if you think staying to help the injured while automatic gun fire is going off. Run and get emergency vehicles or authorities until the gunman is subdued. You can't help the injured if you are dead too.

In that case our country is full of of moronic veterans who exhibited bravery by carrying their wounded peers out of the line of enemy fire.

More to the point, I don't begrudge anyone from running - I would have done it myself - but if you're going to make yourself out to be some bada** like Bilzerian does then running is not a good look.
