That latest article seems to intimate/indicate that he made all his money on his own. That's a joke right? Is the author that stupid or just another slurper?

I must admit I've become a 'fan' of Dan.

Mike Tyson was loved by almost everyone even though he did time for beating up his wife. He was a rude dick to almost everyone and was a massive show off which resulted in him going bankrupt. But we loved him.

I know the comparison is weak since Dan Bilzerian isn't the champion of anything but he's doing a few good things for poker.

He's making the average person like in this fantasy that poker brings you all what we see on his Instagram. This in turn will bring new players and eventually poker might grow to what it was again. I mean, he can't single handedly do it obviously but at least it's a plus.

He's also a very charitable guy from what I'm seeing. Right below the "tits competition" he was doing on Instagram, he posted about how great Manny Is for giving away loads of money to the victims in the Philippines.

And he's a fun guy at the end of the day. Douche or no douche. I'm sure he's be good for TV and would attract viewers if he ever decided to go on these poker cash game shows.

I guess it shows that money is not enough for some people. That's actually true for most people. It might be everything to someone without money, but afterwards of course your priorities change.
A man (or woman) needs work ... friendship.. needs challenges in their life... to strive for something. Humans are complex animals and it's not easy to keep them happy and feeling fulfilled. This guy has had money since day one. It's old hat.
