I drive from San Diego to Vegas (and back) several times every year during WSOP. The L.A. traffic joins in at about where the I-15 intersects I-10. From that point forward to Vegas, there are massive mountain climbs, miles and miles of fairly steep grade long hill climbs. If part of the bet is you can't get off your bike and walk at any point, I think it will be tough sledding for all but a seasoned professional cyclist.

I think there is more variables than just distance....some or most highways in CA do not allow bicycle's, this would be a huge disadvantage, also if DB is not a bike rider, after 4-5 hours on a bike his ass will be unreal sore, making a finish even more unlikely

"Just bet @DanBilzerian he can't bike from his house to the past Vegas sign in 48 hrs her has until March 31st to start"

If you can't get off your bike, the bet is over at the first traffic light..

There are only a few ways to do this by bicycle. It can be done thru the mojave the easiest. but no matter what there are steep steep steep grades to climb.

He won't be raising his heart rate very high at all riding a bike over a long distance.

This would be really easy for anyone even mildly fit.

I ran a marathon with zero training in a reasonable time.

Lol okay Mr. Run a marathon with zero training. It sounds like it's not a flat ride, the opposite in fact. That makes a huge difference, especially for somebody that doesn't bike on a regular basis. 360 miles in 2 days...

The last big incline starting at Baker is a doozy.

That's a great map of the ride.

Poker players talking about anything health/fitness related is funny on here. I'll take action that Dan fails if anyone interested.

Bicycles are NOT allowed on freeways - when he remembers jumping in his car and getting to Vegas in 4 hours, it is over a road system designed for 80 mph speeds. Local city and county roads are not nearly so friendly.

Doable for a serious amateur biker...for someone who couldn't even hit the pool with a skinny horizontal worker...no chance

He's already on the juice TRT or whatever most of these instagram clowns are. I don't understand the people saying this is a cake walk I assume in order to make the deadline he will be riding at least 35+ hours straight with no sleep. Also I assume perkins or one of his goons will be following dan the whole time making sure he doesn't hitch a ride or something.

I use to not like perkins I though he was a ultra dweeb but I do like how he purchases souls for his entertainment. Esfandiari lunging around like the ultimate d-bag was priceless with his awful knee shaking form lol.

I don't think he can do it with only 6 weeks of training.

I feel like with steroids and time to train it should be doable.

That distance is two nice, long day tours on your bike without any need to really hurry up.

Most untrained people would have trouble getting on their bike on the second day, but 6 weeks is plenty time to prepare.
Bill Perkins has a huge edge here.

Have you even ridden a centruy before?
