The concept of investing into a bot ring with the expectation of making an easy profit is probably wishful thinking. It is unlikely that anyone capable of successfully operating a bot ring would wish to share that information and dilute the profits. Setting up a bot ring is an art in itself and requires considerable expertise. Competent bot rings do not usually consist of a group of primitive bots that any security department should be able to catch in an instant. What would be the point unless security is extremely lax?
The purpose of bot rings is to make as much money as possible for their owners and creators and certainly isn't about allowing gullible investors to make easy money? Even if the bot ring does actually exist it will almost certainly consist of basic over the counter bots, perhaps with some modifications.
It is doubtful that anybody with the capability of making their own customised bots would share that technology with, or allow it's use by third parties.
