So I'll give the OP that one, but Doyle doesn't really scale very well, and I don't really understand what this has to do with the main question of a poker-themed hotel. Maybe there's two or three other poker players who would raise similar, limited interest, though I doubt it. And after Doyle does his signing, then what?
Then the poker themed hotel could let it be known that there would be 3 poker celebs a week coming for meet and greets for the next 26 weeks. The hotel could then possibly use same basic schedule beginning 26 weeks later. So the whole year would be covered.

Annie Duke has been known to say yes when no one asked. Maybe start a raffle to win a date with a poker celeb.

With all those opportunities to meet and greet how can I not be sold on the idea of a poker hotel?

Did you really include Mason Malmuth as a "meet-n-greet" property draw?? LOL (no offense Mason).

I think the real question is: what is the difference between meeting and greeting? Could you meet somebody without there also being some greeting involved?

That seems a little open-ended.

You should get more specific as to which of you would be traveling across the River Styx to your meet & greet place.

Even Well Read Ted wouldn't put his new hotel in the underworld!

Spoiler:
Or would he?

You know only 7% of all humans that have ever lived are alive today. That means that there is a market place of once living individuals thats over 13 times greater than the current population of earth! Let's assume 1/10 of these zombies will want to stay at Ted's Underworld Palace Casino And Resort at a very reasonable $50 a pop once per year. Thats approximately a 500 billion dollar a year business!!!

We just need someone brave enough to explore the underworld... Ted?

Solid market research. https://www.scientificamerican.com/a...utnumber-dead/

Ted, your hotel could breathe life into the poker concept of drawing dead....

Best post in thread which is now just OP posting patently absurd thoughts and people making fun of her.

Meh, he/she/other is channeling the Micros scene where they call up and get rejected by all the "celebrities" except without the funny. Also, that was done in 2010 (and was already a tad outdated by then).

first stop in my morning, to catch some caffeine and see what The Donald and WRT spewed overnight.

Anyone ever seen WRT and The Donald together in the same room ? After all their styles, Tweet/posting, seem similar.

Hi Ted, I just made my weekly stroll through to see how you have advanced your idea, and if you had made any headway on progressing your idea to reality. Good luck!

P.S. The Commerce casino is the most successful, and largest poker room in the world. With that said, poker has been on the steady decline. The high limit section has been taken over by casino style table games. Oh yea, they offer casino style games, including blackjack, baccarat, pai gow and others. Lots of them. So much so that a majority of the revenue generated at the Commerce is from these games.
And one other thing...they arent allowed to offer slot machines (by law). But I wanted to hear your thoughts on what you think the Commerce management would do, if tomorrow they were allowed to add 1,000 slot machines to their casino floor space? Thanks in advance for your response.

It was an impulse post, following a revelation that neither WRT nor The Donald seemingly understands the casino business.

I'll take it back however, if you prefer, it was unfair to The Donald.

If I had to spend 50 hours a week in the place, performing even a minimal management role, I wouldn't take the place free.

It would be like managing/owning a low rent apartment complex.

Headaches that aren't worth any amount of money.

What would be the typical number of poker low life's who would try to occupy one hotel room without paying for more than a single ?
