Win the custom undertitle of your choice by winning the WSOP Colossus
guess the number of entrants contest.

Rules

1) Closest guess to the actual number of entrants as defined in 2) below
will win the custom undertitle of their choice as long as it meets twoplustwo standards
and the approval of R*R. You can be over or under. If there is a tie the custom undertitle
will go to the closest guess without going under so lean to the high end (:.

If the amounts guessed are the same number and are closest to the correct amount the first to post the guess will be considered the winner. If you have already have an custom undertitle this is your chance to change it if you like.

2) The final actual entrants amount will be per the WSOP tournaments update page for
Events #5a , 5b, 5c, and 5d and will be the total number of the entrants recorded in all
of those flights one day after registration for all flights of the tournament are closed.
Re-entries are counted in the total number of entrants.

3) One guess per account. You first guess posted starting with and after post #1 will be the only guess to count in the contest.

4) Contest closes at 8:00 am PST (Las Vegas time) Friday, May 29. Guesses after that time will not count. This is 2 hours before the start of the first flight - Flight 5a. If for any reason the WSOP makes an official announcement as to the final numbers of entrants prior to 8:00 am PST (Las Vegas time) Friday, May 29 the contest guess deadline will be considered closed at that time.

5) The rules were drafted while I watched the hockey games so any errors or omissions in the rules are on me. Go Ducks!

6) If you have already posted your guess of the number of entrants prior to my edit of the OP for the contest rules that will be considered your first guess and that guess will stand.

7) Winner must have a join date prior to January 1, 2015 or a minimum of 100 posts.

8) All decisions of R*R and interpretation of the rules by R*R are final (:. This contest will have no monetary value attached.

My initial O/U was 12.5k when the event was announced.

Now? Around 16.5k.

Surprise Top? We may hit 21k, but I see 19.5 as a more "surprise" ceiling.

They've almost sold out the first wave of the first flight and most people planning to play it haven't even arrived in Vegas yet.

The vast majority of people in any tournament show up at the last minute. Given the numbers already registered, however many seats they have available are going to be filled up until registration closes.
