Colossus 2017 Failure
Hey Jack,
I'm Dan a biz man from MA. Also in the poker business. Part time player Foxwoods/Bellagio. Mild mannered, keep quiet and mind my own business. Love WSOP come each year, spend a lot. Love the whole WSOP experience
Railed Colossus. You guys treated Luke Vrabel real bad dude, breaking your own rules & procedures.
The rail abused the guy. Your TD didn't step in to stop it. Playing for a million bucks, well this ain't right.
Extra security for crowd control needed. Players shouldn't be taunted from the rail. Wanna discuss this further, WhatsApp me.
Sincerely,
Daniel J Dandreo III
You didn't even tell Jack how many pounds of merch you bought at the gift shop or how much the airline charged you in overweight fees. You'll never be taken seriously.
In all seriousness, the letter was okay, but would have been a lot more effective if it was just a statement of facts about the incident without all the irrelevant storytelling and details that were added to try to manipulate Jack's perception of OP and Vrabel.
I sincerely hope Luke gets an apology from them, because I believe he was wronged, but I think Luke has lost any chance of that happening given his behavior since the incident. He seems way more interested in getting the floor man fired and besmirching the WSOP brand. If he had handled this maturely, he'd have a much better chance of getting the WSOP's attention, but instead he just rants about it on twitter with tons of profanity, calling people names, and is trying to lead some kind of a revolution against the WSOP, Pokernews, Doug Polk, Daniel Negreanu, Pokerstars, and pretty much any other person with influence in the poker community that won't blindly support his cause. His attitude and actions are why this incident isn't getting the attention that it deserves.
