I flat-called a river bet to close the action with a royal flush playing online with a four-color deck because I misread the board. If I can do that then I'm sure someone who doesn't have their cards staring them in the face can do the same.

Yeah, the odds of this being really wanting to show down his royal is way way more likely than collusion.

Re: Collusion in WSOP Event #1

99.9% there's nothing shady here. people misread hands all the time. and if he was colluding i'm sure he wouldn't be that dumb about it.

Hi,

I've been cruising around the 2+2 forums for about 6-8 months or so now... never made an account or anything, but I like to check it out every now and then.

Just thought I'd let you know you made me piss myself.

Cheers

I got a warning for it and was needled badly (and rightly so) for as long as I lasted in that event which was obv not to long by the level of play I showed today.

This is not the internet, you can show your hand after they fold on the river.

those at the table that were screaming for the floorman were doing so as a joke, since it was so obvious he mis-read his hand.

Re: "Collusion" in WSOP Event #1

if they're colluding a bet would mean the other guy should fold??? kind of silly accusation

Obv a metagame ploy, so people won't bet into you on the river with strong but non-nut hands.

Re: "Collusion" in WSOP Event #1

He wrote a blog about it and said he simply forgot he had the Jh and thought he only had a straight and was afraid of a flush.
He didnt check his cards because he thought that would look weak.
