Although this entire offshoot is kindof a threadjack, there are definitely casinos in the US where this is the policy. One is the Argosy Casino in southern Indiana, just outside of Cincy. I was playing poker in Vegas last week next to a guy who deals blackjack at the Argosy and he told me that the policy there is that anyone who deals anything at the Argosy cannot play anything at the Argosy. So he plays his poker at the other 2 casinos that are relatively nearby. FWIW, YMMV, etc.

They will pay the Blackmailer off!
You guys are still wrong about Clonie. I still stand by my original analysis.
This is a big-time shakedown!

Re: Clonie suing Full Tilt

There is no doubt that it is a big-time shakedown, whether she has a case or not. The suit will be settled for a large sum independent of the merits of the case, because FTP's reasons to settle are unrelated to the merits of the case. But if she's telling the truth, you can't blame her for using the tools at her disposal to get what's rightfully hers.

Huh. Well that's one side of the story. Wow, it never ends on NVG does it?

[QUOTE=jackhigh;7209572]Come on people (who side with Clonie)... this has blackmail written all over it.

4. Clonie and her Scumbag lawyers (not all, just these!) know about the UGIEA and other tax/legal threats and is simply "strong arming" Lederer and Full Tilt to pay her off. Thus the reasoning behind naming all the "Team Members" in the suit.

5. The case will never go to trial. Howard, Full Tilt and other FT Team investors are invariably involved in very sketchy financial scenarios bordering on UIGEA, tax evasion, rico, or money laundering situations that they obviously don't want to "gift wrap" and deliver to the Feds.

So let me see if I can get this straight: Clonie is a blackmailer? Her lawyers are scumbags? So what would you call people who are, as you say "involved in very sketchy financial scenarios bordering on UIGEA, tax evasion, rico, or money laundering situations"? Angels?

Hero worship for any of the parties involved is the heighth of stupidity.

LOL, I sat on a jury for an attempted murder case and the defense quoted Yoda in their closing arguments. I nearly fell out of my chair laughing.... Unfourtanetly nobody else thought the quote was funny except me.

Your right. The Venetian, the Bellagio, etc... all minor casinos.

Try again...

This may have been true once but some (many?) poker rooms have shifted to using dealers as prop players and don't hire non-dealer props any more. From reading threads in B&M I get the impression that it's now common for dealers to stay after their shifts as players and get some extra compensation.

I respect Daniels poker advice, and I'm glad he shares his opinions freely but his legal advice is rarely right. Its not like his friendship with e-dog and other fulltilt defendants would in any way cloud his judgement

what is an even tougher sell is that everyone else has their ownership on paper and she doesn't.

That said, if she was promised 1% she deserves it regardless of what she brings to the table.

Excuse me if I am mistaken, but don't you work for PokerStars? If so, I find your bashing of FTP in this thread, under the guise of just being a regular poster, to be highly unethical.

It may be that another poster with a similar screen name is the person who I am thinking of and if so I apologize.
