Re: Clonie Gowen's suit against Full Tilt dismissed

Clonie Gowen still works for Full Tilt. Go here and click on the David Grey interview part 1 or part 2. The Full Tilt ad that runs prior to the interview features Connie...the ads rotate, and one of them clearly shows Clonie. All of the rest show her at the end when they are all lined up.

I sure hope she's getting paid for this.

Check it out...

Definite hurdle for her but one she was probably made aware of early on..look for her to refile and use the info from this dimissal to fine tune her attack..

I will let the odds guys post her potential edge in actually cashing in this one...I think she will get something...but much less than she wants...

At any rate, this is far from over. Most likely the judge gave leave to amend to fix the deficiencies against the defendants that were dismissed without prejudice. If so, Clonie should amend and narrowly tailor her claims. If not, Clonie should stop fighting about quantum meruit or whatever and just dismiss and refile and start over.

I suppose Clonie took the scorched earth approach because she thought it would result in a quick settlement. Apparently Howard, et al., was more willing to put up a fight then she anticipated. Time to regroup now and bring a solid, tight case that is well prepped to get a few high leverage claims to trial.

By far, this is the best summary of the situation I've seen yet, especially the "scorched earth" approach originally taken to angle for a quick settlement. The major poker news sites are running rather misleading headlines on this latest development, and a lot of people mistakenly think the lawsuit is over.

It isn't.

Re: Clonie Gowen's suit against Full Tilt dismissed

She sued as many of the big names as possible for a reason, she knew she wouldn't get anything from them, she was most likely hoping that they would put pressure on the parent company to settle, plus it would give FT bad press and they may just settle to get rid of it.
She was clearly in the original advertising which gave the impression that Full Tilt was the first internet poker site owned and ran by the pros. I may be mistaken but everyone of them but her has some piece of the company. In my opinion she did something that made them want her out, she wasn't smart enough to put anything in writing so they just told her to get lost.
She is going to get some sort of settlement, not what she asked for but she never figured she would.

I hope that Clonie finds a way to crush her inner demons that prevent her from being happy.

Bluffing my ass. When the original thread started there were STILL sites on the Internet where she could be seen in Full Tilt ads.

She was front and center for these thieves for quite a while.

This is far from over.
