The issue here is that he was paid ridiculous amounts of money in "profit", but the company didn't have the player funds so the "profit" never really existed.

So he was essentially loaning FTP our money.

That's what I have been saying the last few weeks-those greedy scumbags will ruin this deal,everything they are involved in is about to fail because their greed is just too big.

This was part of his 80+ million$ in distributions that were hidden in accounts in the name of the company, over and above the $25+M that he took into his own accounts that the DOJ found evidence of. While you couldn't withdraw $5K, he was havig no problems withdrawing and sharing tens of millions. He never lent FTP money out of this account until after BF when the company had already been insolvent for months but no one on the outside knew that. Of course no one expected in April that we would ever find out.

I would venture to say you will have a hard time finding ppl that agree with you that he should have that $14+M back, while innocent victims are still out over $300M. Maybe if he handed back the $70M he did get instead, it would be a step in the right direction

I don't think its relevant that its player money, since it long ago became his, and he loaned it to FTP. There is no reason to believe Bitar or Ray would not have done the same (trying to claim back 14.5 mill), so i don't see how it makes him worst than Bitar or Howard.

Wouldn't the same apply to Bitar and Howard? I don't know the exact numbers, so please correct me if i am wrong. Why should we be surprised by his action at all? As far as i understand, Bitar and Howard received their shares and Jesus has $14.5 missing that he is supposed to get. So the profits that never existed is not relevant here, since they all plundered our money.
