If Bach wins main, he would end up with 3 bracelets and not make top 3

Has Ferguson clinched the POY or can someone pass him with a strong result in the main event or one drop tourneys?

Edit: Oh, WSOP Europe counts too? So I guess there's still a while to go.

At the point of creating this thread I was kinda mad - now I just think it's pretty funny and ironic that the person who was seen as the poster boy for ruining online poker in America (whether he actually did or not matters not) has won...

I seriously doubt Ferguson or anyone else not named Negreanu gives more than a rat's arse of thought to this "award".

Ok - still won the Summer portion... He now has a reason to go to WSOPE and I would imagine will be on the POY grind there too...

Is it even possible for anyone left in the main to beat him? Seems he has the 10k seat locked up for the Czech Republic. Sure he cashes that a lot of the time right?

I would not be surprised if over half of the top 10 POY players make an appearance in Europe for the last events.

but are they doing that because they want to win POY, or because they are poker players wanting to play tournaments they feel like they are favorites at?

That's exactly why the WSOP includes Europe events. To increase participation over in Czech Rep

Didn't actually plan to go to WSOPE Rozvadov but I guess the Jesus POY award ceremony might be worth the three-hour-drive there and back...
