I mean, I can understand the casino's reasoning "friends helping friends", but seriously, how much can a casino be taken for someone's "collusion" hurts them substaintelly. Shouldn't the casino have insurance against something like this (like stores have insurance against shop-lifters)?
I think it's very poor form for the casino not to help the guy when he is at the poker table but if he was playing slots / table games, the thief would be hunted down by the casino/police. Just un-excusable.
Just out of curiousity, what would happen in these situations?
Guy steals $500 (purple chip) from poker table and places it on blackjack table and wins. Takes the 1k in 2 purples, goes back to the poker room, puts the $500 chip back and walks out with the $500 "profit".
OR
Guy steals $500, places on blackjack, loses, and walks out of the casino.
