Saw this making its rounds tonight, figured it needed to be posted here as BetOnline offers poker to US and ROW.

User on BetOnline was playing blackjack and caught the dealer pulling the second card.

What is the implication of him skipping the card? That he or more likely someone communicating with him knows the exact order of the deck?

Can someone explain to me why the author and everyone in the comment section is absolutely sure it was cheating? I've never played blackjack, but to me it looks like most likely an unintentional mistake. I've seen dealers making all kinds of mistakes on poker tables, no one ever suspected cheating taking place. This case wouldn't even arouse my suspicion, since he would also have to know the cards coming etc. and the stakes are not worth it. Have this happened o multiple occasions, because if it was single instance I really don't get it?

They prob scan the deck before putting it in the shoe and know every card coming then bust ppl on hail mary bets or similar situations of bigger money on table. Scum. Trump should drain the swamp on these panamanian ****s. Ban all online gambling

not looked at the video, but the screengrab from the video posted shows a guy having 11/25, which seems vaguely concerning

Operating a shoe might be simple, but people are not machines and their motions vary. Have you never seen a dealer make a little extra motion or play with fingers because he is bored? To me it looks like this dealer was not even doing this consciously and he didn't notice the card got kicked.

The player split the deuces and the first hand busts hence the "25" he gets a nine with the second hand hence the "11".

Don't know why the dealer messes about with the first hand that busts, would have thought he mucks it and takes it the chips or just leaves it there.

I haven't played BJ for years, but the shoe is odd the way it shows the entire card back, iirc shoes cover up most of the card, just leaving the lower edge showing.

Anyone know how the real cards get translated into virtual cards in these casino set ups? It isn't unreasonable that if there were chips involved, the order of the cards could be known to the house.

As far as reading the cards, 15 yrs ago Ballys was testing a shoe with a reader in the exit lip. It frequently failed but by now they should have perfected it. Here it looks like a camera is under the glass that the card passes over right in front of the shoe.

Looks like there's some kind of scanner in front of the shoe, you can see him drag each card slowly over it.

I don't get it. There are many thousands of hands played per day. Hundreds of them recorded. There are explanations for 1 single hand other than 'the whole of chico live dealing must be rigged'. I'm not talking about what is likely. Not about what is or is not likely the case. Just don't want to burn chico to the ground over 1 hand from 1 dealer.

if they are that bold to cheat players in such a public way imagine what they would do be willing to do when there is no chance anyone can prove they are cheating (ie: poker)..... I definitely won't be playing there anymore.

Of course a big difference is that poker isn't again the House...but still.
