Re: The CEREUS Leaked List

This list is NOT the leaked list. There are definitely names on there who are just employees like Brian Russ. I would pull that list down and replace it with the one sent out by CEREUS. Plenty of those names know what is going on but some are going to be pissed being next to the outed cheaters for no good reason.

Ahh, but Mookman's two lists are the exact documents as leaked by the Cereus employees you've been blind-referencing, and I've seen the e-mails, so I know.

I've been hoping and expecting someone would claim this to be the case, because that either makes the original Cereus leaker liable for defamation, or it makes you liable for defamation, EG. Time for you to **** or get off the pot.

Re: The CEREUS Leaked List

I am confused...and I have been paying attention

Haley, is it possible that the lists, original "whistle blower" posts and screenshots were manufactured by Blast Off to threaten, intimidate and scare certain people?

It is obvious that a lot of people associated with the company, either directly or by proxy were being paid through money transfers. I can't imagine that the accounting and reporting methods for these transfers were very reliable.

Has Blast Off been trying to send a message, something along the lines of "we control the info so shut up and get in line"?

Re: The CEREUS Leaked List

I am taking down the Excel File with my research until I can find a better way to host it. Sorry. The other 2 files remain up though.

I will work on it today and see what I can come up with

Re: The CEREUS Leaked List

lets not forget Joe Sebok promised the poker community he would get the names of the cheaters on the KGC list released and obviously he is passing along what was given to him so Joe can put on check mark next to this one on his list which leaves only the muddled HH issue left to be resolved

The whistle-blower posts and screenshots have been legit. The 28 names are also legit to the best of my knowledge, at least in terms of being part of the KGC 31. The KGC 31 list itself may not be as legit as it's been made out to be, because it knowingly included fake accounts, has been leaked with the intentional omission of three names, was apparently never provided to other authorities (they're welcome to rebuff this claim with proof of submission to -any- enforcement agency, if they so choose), and offers no differentiation between people and accounts directly tied to the cheating and people involved in other matters. Furthermore, at least one other cheating episode and the people involved in that are nowhere to be found on this list, although one person involved in the cover-up of that affair is.

I don't know if Chuck Barnett is still with the KGC or not, but he used to be very proactive in attempting to deal with this type of situation. I haven't heard from him in over a year, though.

The KGC has been proven to me to be not trustworthy. As I've dug into this I asked around to a few people at other sites to get a better feel for the KGC's regulatory processes, and one such source once told me that when the KGC receives a complaint about a site, it forwards said complaint on to the site itself. That might sound good, but the KGC's only regulatory requirement, at least as of the time this source worked with them, was that the site send an e-mail back acknowledging that they received the complaint. They didn't actually have to do anything about the complaint, however, and the KGC's claims regarding oversight are alleged to be air. It's not a story I've been able to corroborate but I believe it to be a true tale.

Time for you to pay attention. I was referencing a list made simple by woodersonp and that Mook had put up which included names only tangentially involved, not the leaked lists. Happy witchhunting...

Only if these people are actually guilty of something. If I am Ron Saccavino for instance and have no culpability, then lawyers would be preparing to sue Cereus for anything they have left. It is this liability which makes this list seem quite genuine.

I agree with Rollo. This list was released in a sloppy and improper manner and included names of people only provably connected to the scandal based on items found by 2p2 folks but it has 23 user names on it and the KGC reported 23 user names. KGC said there were a total of 31 people connected to Russ meaning there are 8 more names not clearly leaked as the additional names include folks who could be involved and names (Jim Ryan) which seem far fetched at this point. Cereus has closed the loop by releasing the names of the KGC 23, nothing less, nothing more. As to the fake accounts and whether there are other names, I am anxious to hear legitimate theories.

It seems more important now to see if and how these now spotlighted individuals react to being outed. Most are recognizable though a few are new and bear further scrutiny.

Where would you file the lawsuit?

Obv not a lawyer, but the Nevada federal courthouse. The other party would be compelled to respond. If they chose not to, then a summary judgment would likely be applied. Might make recovering damages a little difficult but not impossible. At the very least you would clear your own name.

Said list was deleted from that post long before I saw your post, which stated that Mookman, not woodersonp, had put up a list. Mookman temporarily put up his work-in-progress spreadsheet but to state that he put up an erroneous list is a bit of a misstatement, since the two lists he did put up were the ones he had received, unedited by him. There's a page in that spreadsheet that says "Haley Hintze Blogs", too, but last I checked, nobody has accused me of being a UB superuser.

I've let people think I was upset about that "witch hunt" thing, but in truth, no. I thought it was funny, even if I did use it for my own my own purposes in the meantime. I've very intentionally been poking sticks inside cages to see what growls from inside, and I plan to keep on doing that. If there was one thing about Joe's infamous tweet that did tee me off, it was the inferred line that I was supposed to be running with him with anything I uncovered so he could check it out. It was going to be a cold day in hell before I did that.
