You are correct that the majority of people on 2plus2 hate my posts, that's their prerogative and it doesn't bother me. But others find my posts okay or relevant and interesting and have told me this personally.

Chat forums are volatile places, particularly when it's a poker forum as opposed to say one on medical research or movie reviews, so flamers and haters are to be expected and go with the territory.

Some of my posts are very long but then so are some articles and books. Long doesn't always equal wrong.

Edit: the post you refer to has now been deleted by the forum moderator. Not because it was long but because it included in it the political angle which he has stated has already been covered to a large extent in this thread.

I am guessing therefore that this post will also be deleted very soon.

The moderator did also send me a very nice pm explaining the rationale for deleting my post, and I thank him for that.

If the two players are smart with getting sponsorship / wearing a sponsor's patch deals for these HU matches, which appear to now be a best of 3, then they will both be on a virtual free roll.

Not sure if PNIA allow sponsors' patches, but there's surely got be something extra in it for both players commercially one way or another, either through PNIA or from elsewhere and maybe appearance money and/or expenses paid.
